My new sidewalk rig!!
Heres my newer sidewalk machine for next year!!
I'll spend all year getting it ready for winter, but it will be worth it. Im going to build a hydraulic v-plow for it this summer (with a rubber cutting edge), needs a 2" reciever on back for the SnowEx 375 spreader. The factor lights suck, so it will get some new LED's on front and back. Some new paint here and there.... Enjoy!

Nice you will like it. I've got a F935 set up for winter and a F1145 that has a 72" mower deck on it. The lil 935 will move some serious snow. Just put new hydro lines on last fall front to rear for the steering. The metal ones were rotted out between the frame. I'd look at your machine esp if its been used for cutting the dirt and grass just sits in there. Wish I had your cab cant find those ones anymore. You will have to redirect your exhaust if you put a salter on unless yours doesn't just shoot out the back like mine.

I bought the 1145 2 years ago it ran the day i bought it then I was gonna sell it and of course it acted up that day.
We started looking at it last week fuel tanks are full with crap and algae pickup screen was clogged it couldn't get fuel. I put a new fuel filter in it last fall figured that was the prob never dawned to look in the tanks. It was a x town unit too and the kids that prob used it didn't care when fueling it. The blade is so much faster then the snow blower but I think a blower would be handy. 4wd is handy to but my 935 does fine with just 2wd. We had one dumping last year around this time of wet cement that was the only time 4wd would have been great. I like your vplow idea and will look out for your cab design. Some more action shots for ya. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=1&theater http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=1&theater

That machine had a 60" plow that was awesome, but also a pain in the butt tripping on little edges of sidewalks. I built that one from scratch. So I figured I might as well make a V with a rubber edge!! There were a couple heavy snows that a v would have been sweet. So If I start now it should be done by fall

Anything beats shoveling by hand. We usually have to shovel corners out and up against the building. The front end loader guy took care of the stairs for me.

Why not get a Boss V? Price reasons?

Personally, I would never buy another boss... I live by an old saying ' if you want something done right, do it yourself ' . I built my last straight blade for my last machine from scratch! I figure I can build a new V for about $1000
