Two stage Snow thrower updates/innovations???

So, I talked to Ariens b4 buying a 2012 pro32" for $2200. They are comming out with a Pro hydro model, 32" at $3099 late Summer. How usefull would that improvement actually be? Not quite as usefull as in a WB mower. Or would it? I think think if the operertor controls were like a stander mower then, perhaps. But she said it was going to be a lever to push forward or back like a lawn tractor. Think that feature is worth the extra coin? Personally, I would like to see some more ergonomic controls. Do othe mfgs currently offer hrdro drive? I'm pretty sure Honda does.

Those honda's are sweet. We had one for years, it is unstoppable with those tracks.
