Nice setup there. I checked out your website and its very nice also. How many residential customers have you had signup and pay online?
    • JLS24
We just set it up and haven't pushed it yet so we have only had about 20 sign up on the website so far. Next winter we will advertise the website sign up and hopefully utilize it more.

Thats cool. We are goin to add a very similiar feature to our site so customers can sign them selves up also. I plan to push it big next summer, hoping for 4-500. Im switching to the tractor setup also ;)

Where are you located and how many driveways do you plow? Do you do them with trucks now? We currently have 9 driveway routes and about 900 residential customers done with trucks and our new snowblower. In translation: about 100drives per truck done in about 7 hours, a long way yet from Neige's 150 drives in 4 hours :) I am hoping the snowblower will be able to handle 25% drives in the same time or more.

I'm in Fargo ND. I currently only run 3 trucks, and a sub or two as needed, doing a mix of small commercial and resi. Under 50 resi's actually. But our local commercial market is being swallowed up by a big player that is getting much much bigger every year, its not worth trying to compete with them. I've been researching Paul's system, and I plan to bring it to Fargo for next winter. I'm setting up 'systems' to make sales easy. I plan to use A LOT of commissioned sales people, going door to door in subdivisions, even if they dont make the sale, they are giving me free advertising (great for the online signup :) ). I think we have a very ripe residential market that is largely untapped, and I'm banking it.

yeah that sounds like a great idea. I have used a couple of Neige's ideas to get alot more business in my area. I would be happy to share them with you if you wish. Shoot me an email though because i have some local competitors on here.
