I know this sounds strange, but the nearest parts sales is in another time zone. Does anyone get their parts on the web, or from someone other than a local dealer? My reason for asking is that I'm near Lake Tahoe NV, and the closest dealer is either in Salt Lake City, or Idaho.
Thanks.

The guys on here turned me on to Angelos (http://www.angelos-supplies.com/plowparts/) and I've been using them ever since. They know their stuff and they ship quick. Usually get my order within two or three days. Most of the common things that break I stock up on.

Other than the local people, I use Central Parts Warehouse (a Plowsite sponsor)

I have used angelos and stuff4trucks.com. Both have been pretty responsive.

i go local. I have a fisher dealer about 15 miles away but i dont use them that often very pricey. Usually my local napa autoparts store has what i need or can get it within a day at a price i cant beat.

thanks for the tips. I've seen stuff4trucks and like what i see. i'll look at the others. when i called Fisher today they were kind of stumped; there are no outlets in Nevada! getting stuff was easier when i lived back east. the advice about stocking up on commonly used parts is well taken. i've been here for 5 years and am just now depleting stock that i bought years ago hence the need to find an outlet that will ship to me in Nevada.
thanks again and best regards.
