Angle questions

First snow and first time plowing! I love it! Is it okay to angle the plow while its down and you are plowing? I was lifting it to angle it; I was told it was a waste of time, just to angle it as I go.

I have never been told not to angle the plow while it's on the ground (float function). Maybe a Fisher Tech would say otherwise, but I have been doing it this way for years!
