Fisher MMII motor problem

One year old fisher MMII 9' blade. Motor NG this season. Totally corroded inside. New motor has a piece of tape over an existing hole in the motor case. Appears old motor sucked up moisture and salt through this hole, for which purpose is beyond me.

Can you say "2 winter warranty".

Take it back to the dealer.

Thanks crash, so blasted busy just went to the nearest place and bought another one. Will bring the old one back to the dealer.

Make sure you bring the serial number off of the front of the power unit along with your receit. If your dealers any good he shouldnt have a problem running it under warranty without you bring in the whole truck and plow.
