headlight circuitry and isolation module

When I bought my truck the headlights were dim. Turns out Fords wiring is retarded, the circuit runs all the way into the cab on small gauge wires. So i bought a kit that uses the stock wiring to trigger a relay which opens a circuit that goes directly between the battery and the headlights, on heavy gauge wiring. works great, lights bright now!

My question is, does the fisher isolation module bypass fords stupid wiring? If not, should i leave in my original kit? It just seems like there would be a ton of connectors each of which could sacrifice reliability.

The isolation module gets its' headlamp feed from the plugs that connect to the headlamp bulbs themselves. If I were you, I would adapt your system to the new headlamp plugs at the end of the isolation module wiring. By installing the isolation module, you are adding small sized wire back into the circuit again. I doubt that Fisher uses wire any bigger in size than Ford used.
