I just received a used set of push plates for my 05 2500HD. They didnt come w/ hardware. Anyone know what size and how any bolts i need. Also what grade are these bolts? or just fisher sell the hardware as a kit?

You can get all the bolt sizes and grades right from Fisherplows.com
Look up support, parts in their PDF files.

Also, 2 of the bolts have a metal tab welded on them so you can reach them into the frame and they won't spin. I would give jb weld a try, should hold it long enough to tighten them up. I just installed a set on my 05 2500HD a few weeks ago.

THanks for the info. I actually do have the bolts. Found them. But, the two that normally come w/ the bar attached are just the bolts. Im going to see if i can have a buddy weld them quick for me. are they supposed to break off from the factory once you've tightened them down enough?

No they are not supposed to break, but if they did no biggie, its function will have been served. Thats why JB weld would hold it long enough for you.

Good point. How long are those bars connected to the bolts?

8-10 inches will do you fine, By the way, those are the easiest plates I have ever installed on any truck.

I got them on. Actually didnt need the bar. I was able to put the nut in the frame by hand and just slide the bolt up through. Put a wrench on the nut and tighten. Pretty easy.
