wondering if the hydraulic pump for an older fisher plow would be enough to power a hydraulic winch. I was thinking about getting one and hooking it to the plow disconnects in the summer think that it would work?
Thanks

Had a guy who used his fisher pump for a wood spliter. He had under the hood valve and drilled a hole above his headlight ( left side of course) and ran a rod to the valve arm. He then used the angle hose fitting to run the spliter back and forth. He also had a gizmo to make the truck idle about 1000 rpm instead of the normal 650-700. He was quite the inventer as he also made the spliter hook to the plow frame so he could go into the woods and splite wood or anywhere else for his friends use.

That's a great idea!

I would give it a try as a Fisher Pump put out about 1500-2000 psi maybe it is enough.
