Engine Exhaust Brake on Chevy 4500

The Exhaust brake on our 4500 sticks closed. What do we need to do to eliminate this problem? The truck has 4500 miles on it... Worked fine, then all of a sudden it started.... Thanks in advance............

I am assuming that with 4500 miles on it this is a new truck? If so, back to dealer under warranty.
