90 blazer ?

I have a 90 full size blazer with pwr wind and locks, a/c 350 auto.anybody know what the amperage on a stock alt is and what amperage SHOULD i use.Just want more juice when im plowing with the heat cranked...Thanks

My guess would be 85 amp. It all depends on the options with the truck. I would bump her up to a 110 or so.

I was thinking my 90 C1500 had a 120, factory. I could be confused with my 94 K.
Anyhow, I'd put an older model on, for plowing. The newer ones aren't designed for sustained high output.

When I wsa on PD, we had a 92 Caprice that had the package 120amp. It ate 2 a year, or so.
